Objectives:
To present advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities to improve
clinical care of the allergy patient, including the more complicated
patient.
Upon completion, diligent course participants should have a
better understanding of
- the role of allergy diagnosis and management in
an otolaryngology practice;
- the principles of objective
dosing, vial safety, and related therapeutic options;
- the current
thinking in terms of sublingual immunotherapy, food allergy, ocular
manifestations, oral, pharyngeal, and laryngeal manifestations, otitis,
and rhinosinusitis;
- the impact of the unified airway and
the role in identifying and managing inflammatory disease.
